Wow!!! Having finished touring the CT 1.6 times, I can appreciate, but can't comprehend how Jesse and Jefe can accomplish what they did on so little sleep. Truly inspiring.

Here is a little gem I just found. Obviously he has learned quite a bit in the last few years!
Congrats once again to Jefe and Jesse. Amazing rides both! Good luck to all the other multi-colored dots out there.

Unreal race by those two. I'm in awe.
Seems like a decent race (albeit not nearly as close as Jefe and Jesse) is developing between the Sobo ITTers Nic and Chris. I know Nic from Alpha Cycles - nice guy and very low key. Love the check in - All Good. Stopped for Food. He is putting down a good pace - can't wait to see where he finishes time wise with the addition of the Tarryall reroute.

Wayne, Neil and Travis are about to get very, very wet.
We just got 3/4" of rain in the last 30 min here.

a serious round of applause for Jefe, Jesse, and Matt Schiff. And for the rest of those still out there you get a standing ovation as time ticks on, as weather throws a wrench into your days plan...Dig real effin deep into the suitcase of courage and Never Give Up!!!!!

Tracking update: it looks like there may be an issue with SPOT's server. I am not seeing any new points from any riders in the last ~2 hours right now. I'm in touch with SPOT and we hope to get this resolved ASAP. Thanks for the patience, sorry folks!

Thanks Scott. I was actually starting to get stuff done at work and it felt strange . I must get back to watching the race.

Thanks for the update Scott! Though I don't think it's going to address a dot that hasn't moved in 20 hours. I'll try to stop hitting refresh now anyway. :-)

Was at the finish this morning around 7:30am. At the beginning of Colorado Trail from Denver out of Waterton Canyon. I believe this was Jefe who won. He thought he was second!

Still no points. There's a network issue on SPOT's side that is preventing new points from being posted. Unfortunately right now I don't have an ETA for it being fixed, but they are working on it.
Never seen something like this before!

I haven't seen a prettier evening in Summit County in a long time. The peloton is enjoying Colorado at its best. The rain sucks but the trail is tacky and the vista, the vista is bueno. Wow.

What drivetrains were JJ and JB running? Looks like Jesse is on the new XX1, but Jefe?
Enlighten this lowly singlespeeder.

Ryan Franz called in from near Peak 10! Aaron Weinsheimer called in from Leadville. Ben Gannon called in from near Hwy 9! The Long Ranger called in from Lake City. And Aaron Weinsheimer called in from Copper after a bad storm! http://mtbcast.com/site2/category/ctr13/
