map layers-current radar shows some serious weather blanketing lots of the CT from Jefferson all the way to the finish.  some rather serious looking red severe storm activity..yikes...this is gonna be something else back to waterton.  safety first

Stefan,
Nice job, and thanks for putting on this awesome event!  Have you tried Ergon grips? or maybe bar ends to change hand positions?

Man, we just gotta figure out how to start *and* finish in Durango!

Yeah some kind of Loop like the Coco 250 is exactly what CO needs. Seems like it has to be possible to come up with something. I've only driven thru and ridden Kenosha to Georgia once, sweet stuff, there's tons of trails somebody just needs to map out a sweet loop.

+1 for a CO loop. But keep it at least 400 miles.

Enjoying the racing this year. Strong field of riders setting the standard for the NoBo CTR.

Looks like Jefe B. has headed down off the CT on Jefferson Lake road. Maybe its a spot abnormality? Heavy weather?

Looks like JJ and JB are back together, it must have been a tracking error. These guys are on the gas. So much respect for EVERYONE out on the CTR. Epic warriors, all of you !

That's the difference between us and them.

Aaron Weinsheimer called in from near Hwy 50. And Ben Gannon called in from Buena Vista!

I just saw this message from my buddy Will Ritchie at mile 120,       Will Ritchie - " Shipment did not arrive. Please send diabetes supplies to next resupply. " I am not sure who is managing his resupplies but I hope they get this message. Looks like he is still riding with his buddy Brue S.

I'm on the CO trail about 10 miles from the gold hill trailhead. Jefe, Jesse, and the third place rider crossed our paths up near Georgia Pass about 3 hours ago (Jefe and Jese).  Jefe and Jesse were only about 20I minutes apart! Time to get off this rainy mountain.

I really hope they get that figured out.. I'd hate to see Will and Brue call it quits early! They've been doing so much better today and yesterday. The first day was painful to watch. I'm assuming they got caught up in that hale storm and possibly decided to get some rest as well.. They only got a few hours of sleep prior to the race start.  Well, I will continue to check up on them constantly as I have been!

Looks like it could be a really beautiful evening out in Lost Park after that big storm...although the leaders may be too trashed to notice at this point.

I was lucky enough to be in position to see some famous "blue dots" going by live this morning.  First caught the leading pair of Jefe and Jesse coming across from Gold Hill, then drove up to the Dredge and hopped on my bike to catch them again a bit further up.  Snapped some pics and gave chase!

It took almost everything I had to just barely hang close for about 0.5 hour before I turned down on Red Trail and they headed on up.  Just amazing how these guys can maintain that pace for about 100 hours, with virtually no sleep, yet seem to maintain good cheer throughout.

Thanks to all the riders and organizers for inspiring us mortals every year with this greatest bike event of them all, and good luck to everyone still out there cranking!

Enjoy the pics...

I have stuff like that and will actually be driving that way tomorrow if he is in peril. Don't think he would mail insulin which you need to live so probably extra test strips. If anyone knows send me a message.
