Stefan, I didn't know where to post this and too lazy to start a new thread (and to email/pm you
). Anyway, I noticed on the CTR homepage for the records, it shows for 2013, the women's record holder is Chrissy Nacos (8dys 17hrs 50min) ITT Denver to Durango(i.e. route in reverse from GD). Bec Bale is listed as finishing in 9dys 14 hrs 58 but GD, Durango to Denver.
With 2014 the first year from Denver to Durango with Tarryall, will Neil be listed as a record holder for this direction? And Bec Bale be listed as the women's record holder for this route for Durango to Denver? In other words, will you be listing separate records for each direction? Just curious.
I guess it depends on whether one considers the route different for each direction (for instance, Durango to Denver adds the roll out distance from downtown Durango to Junction Creek TH (around 25-30 minutes) while the Denver to Durango does not include that portion).
I also don't know if the amount of climbing changes depending on direction (anyone know? Toby?), or if it even matters. I don't have a dog in this issue, just raising it for purposes of clarity (and bored at work).
