I've tried to search, but I can't seem to find what mount option works best for these lights. Someone mentioned Two Fish (http://www.twofish.biz/bike.html). But I can't tell if this is a solid mount and lightweight. The Fenix brand mount is really heavy.

What is the best mounting option you've found for handlebars? Helmet?

By the way, it looks like Fenix just upgraded their LEDs - even brighter and burn longer!

Thanks!

using a twofish on my helmet. would use one on the bars too.
you need to crank it down tight with the velcro, or it tends to yo-yo a bit.

i carved out my twofish to fit the helmet, gives a better angle to the light and keeps it in one place.

I'm using a VioSport camera mount.  It's lightweight and the mount stays in place.

I'm running an LD20 and a TK21.

The price was right ($7.95), so I bought two of these.

Here's a link... http://www.vio-pov.com/products-mounts/double-hook-and-loop-mount.html

That VIo is basically a two fish mount, but the two fish you can leave the base on the helmet or bars when changing batteries.

I have been using the two fish mount with Fenix L2D's (old version of the LD20) for a couple of years on both bars and helmet.

As long as you make sure the strap is nice and tight you get a very secure fit to the bars.
Helmet mounting depends on your helmet vent configuration, but if the blocks fit the vents you'll get a nice secure mount.

Probably particular to the helmet, but this bike pump tie from Jandd is working great on my helmet:

At a weight of 10g, it's hard to beat.

I've got the two fish mount on order for the handlebar.

I purchased the recommended bar mount for this light and was disappointed. It is way too big.

I use the Twofish on my bars and have been happy with it's function, however, I had the strap break on me on my last tour.

It weighs 27g.

The velcro pieces are pressed/heat bonded together.  My handlebar strap broke off when i was tightening the unit on the bars.  Thankfully I had a needle and some floss so I sewed it back on.  If you get it run the straps through a sewing machine for some added piece of mind.
