I'm new to this site but I wanted to let all you 100 mile mountain bike racers know that TripleRing Productions in Butte, Montana puts on a 100 mile and 50 mile MTB race. 2010 will be our 4th year and with racers such as Tinker Juarez coming it will be the best yet. This year the race will be July 31st. Look for up dates and info on http://www.tripleringprod.com Thanks. Solobobw (Bob)

Good stuff Bob. I'm actually going to get around to doing it in 2010.
Any truth to Bill's rumor that it will have even more singletrack?

Yes, I'm working on getting the race off the 5 mile section of paved frontage road and the 6 miles of sandy 4 wheeler track along side another highway. The sandy 4 wheeler section is being replaced with the East Ridge CDT. Should really be nice. thanks,
Bob

I didn't mention that about 60% of the Butte 100 course is Continental Divide Trail and total elevation gain is approximately 18,000 ft in the 100 miles. The 50 mile option has around 8,000 ft of gain.

New twist to this years race course, when you cross the finish line you will not remember the tuff sections of the race - I promise!

Anyone entering the Butte 100 100 mile option on Sportsbase online will need to send me an email with jersey size info. Sportsbase doesn't have that selection capabilities. Sorry. bwtripleringprod@hotmail.comBob Waggoner TRP
