London to Istanbul, 2 control points, choose your own route.

Anyone thinking about it for 2014?  Entry is open in a few weeks.  It's on my bucket list, not sure if it'll happen in 2014.

I'm all but certainly doing it. Just lining up a few more things at work but definitely in unless something changes.

Who's going to be following the dots for this event? I certainly will be. Also planning to visit Montenegro in August and may be there at the same time as some of the dots to cheer them on.

Almost talked myself into applying for an April fool place, but didn't apply as I was worrying if I would survive the Highland Trail at the time.

Daniel Jessee has not moved in 21 hours, trust all is well with him and just a SPoT issue.

Kristof Allegaert, winner of last year, already has a 10 hrs lead on number 2!
If you are interested in what bike he is on, watch this beauty Made in Flanders!

Super trailer and cool that they talk dialect (West Vloams).
Let's hope this company will remain in the family and not be bought by Trek, Giant or some other large bike company.
Proud flemish bikepacker.

Anyone heard from our good friend Chris Bennett? He's been stuck in Italy waiting for a ferry for 22 hours ..... looks like winner Kristof Allegaert will finish in a few hours. Sensational riding, very Jefe Branham/Mike Hall esque saving on the accommodation ex's

Congratulations to Chris on finishing the Transcon.  13d:12h:31min headbang

Seems he was very keen to make the after party .... on my reckoning he rode off @ 3:00am and 41h:30m later finished without popping the tent, not bad for a young dude.
