Congratulation to Tom! 4 days and 11 hours with a singlepeed bike. Unbelievable! Actually, has there been any breaks between the showers this year? Michael

Also very interesting is the track of Ilan Rubenstein. Looks like he is doing some sightseeing.

Ilan is a mystery wrapped in an enigma that may or may not be inside a sealed box.
I have no idea what he is at.

I have to laugh everytime I look at Ians track... Does he hide when people ride by him or has anyone actually spoken to him? Odd. :-)

OK Jenny is backtracking.
Now, a question that my wife raised last night...
"If she backtracks, takes the road, then backtracks the course to the river, THEN continues on the course, would you DQ her?"
I opted to say " Alans call. Personally, no. But it's a two day diversion"

on the website it says this: "ROUTE DETAILS ALTERNATE One route alternate is available to avoid a potentially dangerous river crossing in Fisherfield. If you arrive at this crossing and feel that it is too dangerous to cross, you may back track to the road and go via the coast to Poolewe. This will be a significant time penalty. There is no limit on the depth of the river, and it is up to the individual. Make wise and safe choices for yourself, regardless whether ten people have crossed before you." So I guess she will be ok. Assuming she backtracked from the right river.

Like you said She's crossed and is tracking back to the river now. Really happy to see that.

Near final update. We have only one ITT rider left on course John Fettis who is somewhere near the top of Torridon at the moment. Our other ITT rider diverted to the HT440 route, and is now backtracking.
We had some final scratches today, unfortunately including Jenny Graham.
