Kaibab Snow Reroute Possibility?

I'm curious if anyone knows what the likelihood will be that the snow reroute on SR 67 will need to be utilized to bypass the South/Central/North Kaibab AZT segments (assuming one will be arriving at the North Rim early first week of May?

Very likely up to Jacob Lake.  Most of that terrain is over 9k' so gets a lot of snow and melts late.  Of course, it all depends on snowpack...I have seen years where it was wide open  May 1.
