The Dixie 200 start this year is June 18. I'll post any updates here as they happen.

I'm definitely interested in riding this year!

OK, here's the first update for 2016. Last year there was a universal request for a Friday start. So...

The Dixie 200 will start on Friday, June 17 at 7AM.

## Update ##

I've started a new thread for this year's event (2016). It is here: http://www.bikepacking.net/forum/ultra-racing/dixie-200-2016-edition/

How is the snowpack this year Dave?

And, can you nuke Vegas so I don't have to deal with traffic again on the drive out?

Snowpack is near normal, depending on the source you look at. Slightly above normal on the Markagunt, lower elsewhere. Ya know that global warming thing, it keeps the snow up high.

Check it out here http://1.usa.gov/1XXhQjC

I recommend avoiding Nevada entirely. Head north to Oregon, hit the North Umpqua & Bend area trails, then head to Sun Valley, then hit the Wasatch crest on your way to Dixieland. Nobody should have to drive across SE CA and NV on the summer solstice weekend!
