Pix of Matthew Lee passing through the south edge of Helena, Montana, about 6:20 p.m. tonight.  "Ride the Divide" played here tonight.  A bunch of us got together for a BBQ before the movie, and then realized the timing was right to see him ride through just before we had to leave.

I am always amazed at the amount of stuff he is carrying. What is in those bags? It looks like absolutely nothing..Cheesy

i most def modeled my kit after his with a few mods.  I need to work out just a couple of finite details so when I do my divide run in 2011 I will be traveling lite like him.

I plan on not using bottles though and having my water in my frame bag full triangle.

I can imagine he is packing only what is absolutely necessary with some refinements is really not all that much.

I got to meet Mathew the night before the race, I also saw his bike. It's so amazing how little he takes with him, just bare minimum, maybe even less! He knows exactly where to get what he needs to keep himself moving. Very focused. Also a really nice guy.
