Keep in mind it doesnt count unless I can get to Durango! Actually, I havent tried half of what I got other than pedaling to work on monday! Can you really sleep on a car sun visor? Time to learn the hard way!
The sun visor worked well on my CTR’s and TDR. It’s not really for ‘padding’ but rather a bit of insulation.
If I pick the right ‘soft spot’ on the ground it works very well, even for a side sleeper like me. (But it worked only so so on the smooth concrete floor of an Wyoming outhouse)
And depending on the ground conditions the visor can go under or inside my bivy. Using it inside my bivy seems to keep me a bit warmer on frosty mornings.
