Hi guys, great site and forums!
I am from Israel where the scene is developing - not many events, so we make our own non-organises rides.
I have a chance to do a "cross Israel" road cycling event (370 mile, approx 24h), and 2 weeks later a 250 mile desert ride (2 days with little sleep in the middle).
Is it possible? reasonable?
After a 24 hours road nike event, how much time I need to recover before I can do another long Ultra?
Thanks!

Welcome to the site.  Very cool to hear about non-organized 'rides' in Israel!  Do you keep track of timing (print results)?

Tough question to answer on recovery time.  Everyone is different.  In my experience recovery gets really slow when you start pushing long days with sleep dep.  However, since your events are not longer than 2 days I think you might be able to pull it off assuming you're in good shape.  Smiley  I think it also depends on how hard you ride in the first event.  If an all out effort it's likely to take more than 2 weeks to recover, but otherwise it should be OK.

Post back with some feedback if you do attempt both!
