Hey everyone, i am a 23 year old fella from Ohio graduating from Miami University in May.  I am posting to see if anyone is interested in sharing a room prior to the start somewhere in Banff, i have been seeking accommodations from Tues June 5th- Early friday morning check out on June 8th.  PM me if you are interested in possibly doing this.  I am a pretty courteous and polite guy and to boot and can help with any bike repair knowledge...plus i could use a friend to depart with.  Thanks!

The Banff Mountain Lodge (YWCA) has bunks for $31 per night.  Matthew Lee usually has them reserve a block of rooms, but I don't know how much Matthew is doing this year.

The YWCA is a hostel like set up. You can call and reserve a room. Tell them you are racing the divide and they will put you where you need to be. I'm guessing the place is going to be super packed this year so you might want to reserve early....

Rooster14--I just booked a bed at the Banff Y. If my flight booking goes as planned, I should be in Banff from May 24th til the start of the race. I plan on doing some acclimatization rides prior to the start date, so hit me up when you get to Banff if you want someone to do a little course recon with, chat about the race, share info, etc. Be warned that I am a total newb to the TDR. I'm pretty much training and preparing for riding the route solo, but I hope to pace along with others.
