Keep in mind that you will need to add the Basic Service Plan ($100/yr) + the Track Progress feature ($50 a year). No monthly plan.
Trackleaders rent them at around $25 including service for the entire time you'll be racing the TD.

That's a great price
I purchased mine a month or so ago and on my longer trainer rides I use it. It's nice that my wife and friends can check on my whereabouts and
it keeps me going knowing that someone is watching me. Kind of a weird feeling in some ways...

I completely agree... As tempting as it is to save $40, I won't risk it... Last time I purchased a sale item through Best Buy it too said it would ship out in 5-7 business days. A month later it was still not in stock, and shortly after that, they automatically cancelled my order without telling me... I'd be very weary of the 5-7 day timeline listed. If it said "in stock" then maybe, just maybe... |

Yeah, it depends on the length of the event, and yep, we are having to cover the cost of upgrading to SPOT2's. For the Stagecoach 400 this weekend the rental price is $40. |

I would agree. Yet I ordered one and got it for $34.99 cause it came 3 days later than they promised! I did not even pester them that it was late just saw the discounted price when I picked it up and asked why it was less? Best Buy is a horrible, horrible company and I will never do business with them again.
