Looks like the unofficial list is up.

The input form for 2019 starters is here:

and the unofficial list of 2019 starters is here to see who is entered:

Thanks for posting. I love reading through the start list and seeing where everyone is from and what their goals are. Such a wide variety! Lots of international riders-as always. Hats off to them. Major effort to get here and compete. Most of them do well too. A few familiar names: Hal Russel at age 70!! Marty Johnson at 64.  And past winner Josh Kato -with no time goal, right. And on the women's side TD cheerleader Bonnie Gagnon at 29 days-good luck Bonnie! Alexandra Houchin at 17 days-a serious goal. For the men 23yr old Dylan Gonda is shooting for 16 days which is the lowest listed. These two are veterans so they know what they signed up for.
Mother nature bats last so goals are goals. Thinking this could go down as an epic year given the heavy winter over basically the entire route. Cant wait for the GD!

How about this declarative statement about Leal Wilcox from a TD FB page. Hmmm, gonna be interesting dot watching this year.

The fastest female ITT record is 15 days, 10 hours and 59 minutes, held by none other than Lael herself, but this year she wants to try and beat the men's record of 13 days 22 hours, 51 minutes. The Tour Divide starts on June 14th, and with all the snow the mountains have been getting, the trails are likely to be in less-than-optimal condition. Whether or not the conditions allow her to break the overall record this year, she aims to be the first woman to ever win the Tour Divide outright.

I’m riding this year. I almost wish I wasn’t, ‘cause it does look like an interesting year to be watching on the screen.

Actually, I don’t have a goal time.  I have goals but none relate to time.  I do think this is going to be an interesting year.  I’m curious to see how iit unfolds.  There is going to be a heck of a lot of competitive people out there so it should be great dot watching.  Front to back it’s going to be a great year!  One of these days, when my body falls the rest of the way apart I hope to be out there like our amazing over 60 crowd.  Those are some amazing athletes!  Happy dot watching!

Howdy All.  I'm bacccckkkkkkk..... and I hope that is okay.

One week to start of the TDR so here are the updates for Ovando Montana:

1. For Dot Watchers the Blackfoot Angler webcam will again be up and running with [hopefully] the sound on only at night so if you arrive late you can still have your moment in history recorded: AS LONG as you roll up to the camera.
Web address is: https://video.nest.com/live/6oAK3yyGlJ

2. Blackfoot Angler's hours will be 8 am to 6 pm or more as needed for photos.
I am the person who for the last 5+ years [??] takes the photos of the riders as they are coming thru [to the best of my ability].  I will make the bikepacking.net thread on the TDR race the only site I post photos.  Last year was a bit combobulated with multiple sites and I ain't doin' that ag'in.

3. Blackfoot Commercial Company/Ovando Inn's hours will be 7 am to 7 pm.
Showers will be open as they are.

4. Stray Bullet Cafe's hours will be 7 am to 2 pm.

5. Trixi's hours will be 10 am to 9 pm.

Here's to a fierce 2019 season.
And I just heard:  Ms Wilcox wanting to beat the men's record.  This is going to be so much fun!
Cheers!

Webcam bookmarked! Wink
Good luck and safe travels to all riders. Always love this time of year, starting to see all the loaded bikes and TD riders arriving in Banff/Canmore where I live. Look forward to checking out the start in a weeks time!

Wow thanks a lot folks.
Now the big question:  Is there going to be a new discussion thread set up when the race starts for actual race posting or will it be an extension of this one or other myriad forum discussion on the TD.

This appears to be some duplicate list which was created on 9/9 it seems. The actual 2020 list from The Cordillera team has already been out for some months  .... see below:

The actual input form for 2020 starters is here:
 https://forms.gle/A9qC2n5ar5YwqAsW9

and the unofficial list of 2020 starters is here to see who is entered:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JsS2pMKY8_BLD7OLzx3eLdCmRRI-eulH2AdDB3brWgE/edit?usp=sharing

Good luck everyone!
