If there are four or five riders with overlapping blue dots when you are max zoom, how can you figure out how they are? Is there some way to 'tile' the dots so you can see them all?

This is something I haven't figured out yet in Trackleaders V2 (google maps V3).  There used to be a way to drill down (zoom) past the max zoom of the tileset.  Not anymore, that I've found.

I recommend switching to Satellite view.  It will give you 3-4 more zoom levels, which should be enough to see more separation.

Looking for the leaders to head out of Sparwood...

Looks like Jefe Branham of Gunnison Colorado is riding through the night. His spot is moving. At 3am he is at mile 192 and passed ITT riders Errin Vasquez and Erik Mathy who stopped for the night in Elko at mile 187.

it seems as Kurt and Ethan are having a common nap  thumbsup

... and, concerning Jefe: the fat lady hasn't even started to sing

Good luck to all!

PS: We should observe the TD-rookies Jefe Branham and Ethan, cf. the results of the ctr:

Shortly about to leave the warmth of my Elkford motel room to start day 2 as son as theres some daylight.

Elk Pass didn't need snow shoes as the front riders had laid down a path and the snow is melting rapidly up there, giving some early mud.

Another spouse checking in...  I'm looking forward to the cross over the border so I can actually get a call while he's in cell range.  I'm proud of my hubby, but looking forward to getting him home too.  Anyone else planning to go to Antelope Wells to meet them at the finish?

My sis-in-law and I are planning to meet JE and TS at the end of the ride at AW.  They were forecasting their finish times to be about the same.  We'll see how the ride evolves to know for certain which day(s) we need to show up.

I made a best guess for when I thought he would be done and purchased tickets for then.  After I bought tickets, they did the re-routes.  I'm thinking now he might beat me down there.  I want him to finish soon and do well, but I'd also like to see the finish :-)

Chris Bennett called in late last night to say he’s out. The smoke from the fires down in NM triggered an asthma attack. He’s going to move ahead and tour from here out.
Dan Simas checked in from Elkford. Other than a pinch flat he’s doing okay.
Pete Faeth called in from what appears to be Silver City. He and Steve Moore were headed to the Beaverhead.

I'm not surprised to wake up and find Jefe in the lead.  The guy can forgo sleep like no one else.  Looks like he's the only one that didn't get a tent icon last night (tent = stop for 4 or more hours).
