headbang   An epic TD and an Epic TD thread    headbang

In celebration the Cordillera is having a contest!

Prizes for whoever can best predict the winner's final time.

Well I clearly proved I can not do route math at midnight and while tired. I do believe I am way off on my finish guess..  I took the distance of Jefe to Silvercity stat off of Trackleaders, plus what I thought was 120 miles from Silvercity to AW to get the distance left last night.. think that was a bit short..

Eric,  I would like a clarification.  I already purchased V. II the first day it came out, with this offer I would buy more copies but the problem is I don't know any deserving cyclist to give them too (plenty of undeserving ones).  Do you have a way of getting them to kids interested in cycling who can't afford them or maybe I should just have them sent to juvenile halls or group homes.  Any ideas on this would be appreciated.
Trips For Kids WNC could put them in the hands of some kids who might be inspired:  stephen at trips for kids wnc dot com

Is Robert Gianni Ok?  I'm busy tracking Aidan and have noticed that he hasn't moved and Aidan is about to overtake.

I'd just like to say at this point that I am so proud of Aidan, he is doing a great job.  I have spoken to him once just before his bike cracked, he sounded great.  I think we are going to watch him make up all that lost ground pretty quickly now as he is now super focused.  Go Aidan! keep on trucking! and I have loads of admiration to all the other racers out there too and for those who may have retired but gave it a go.  Well done folks!

Hee hee, Just seen my post suggests its from Aidan, that'll confuse you all!!!  It is in fact Emily-his girlfriend, who is sitting comfortably on a sofa at home, not in scorching sun on a bike!

Looks like we might have a night finish.

Which brings me to a question, what is the plural for TD Riders, a gaggle?

A cluster (if they're geared)
A sprocket (if they're SS)
A chain (either)

Sure doesnt, I am a great stalker as its 110 here in PHX so I have only 1 thing to do this afternoon.

What is the water strategy across NM?

I think we have a winner.

The next chain coming my way is lead by David Horton with the rest around Kremling.

I have found my Camera, locked and loaded, so I am going to guess tomorrow lunchtime.

BTW they opened the pass for vehicular traffic yesterday.

Wow - if he has a raging tail wind, this could get very interesting, indeed!
