We've got some goofy splits on the leaderboard.

Long Ranger only took 30 minutes to get from Butte to Lima!
LR's Lima split showed up when he took an 8 mi Eastward leg off course south of Butte. Not sure why that triggered it, but it did.

Could Eszter be closing? She's about 45 mi behind the bunch.

They could be getting too comfy together. Her last stop was 1 hr vs their 3 hrs.  It will only take 2 more of those for her to catch them.

That being said their 3 hr stop was 2 hrs longer than Serge's but they covered the same 90 miles afterwards 2 hrs quicker than Serge.

Did John Phillips go the wrong way or just finding a spot to sleep for the night?

Came across these three at Flagg Ranch yesterday while driving north through Grand Teton NP that I though some may enjoy.  Pic taken around 10:30 am on June 15.  Eric S., Garrett P., and Adam J.

Not sure if Gary is still in this or not... according to the spot locator, he hasn't made it to Whitefish yet... hoping he's ok!

Here are a few pic of Sara D. as she heads up Grizzly Gulch out of Helena, MT.  Picture taken around noon on June 16th.  Seemed to have lots of energy and was looking good!  Way to Go!

Turn on satellite view.  He's at Elk Lake Resort.

Hard to tell from Jo Ann's spot if she corrected it or not as it hadn't been updating very well at all for awhile.

Is Brush Mountain Lodge open this year? Their website looks a bit out of date and nobody seems to have mentioned it this year. icon_scratch

Calls today: Perry Clawson from Seattle called in to say he has gone off route and has not corrected that. He says to consider him OUT, but plans on continuing south along the route for the remainder of his vacation. Michael Cleveland called in from Helena. Rolled in late. Had the best and worst day on the bike yesterday. He recounts the trip. Riding w/ Tyson and Sara, heading toward Basin today. Tyson Fahrenbruck called in from Helena. Good ride so far. Got in a fight with grouse for about ¼ mile yesterday. Shout out to a bunch of great folks and establishments along the way. Jim Stansbury called in on route to Helena. He found an HTC cell phone w/ pink case outside of Ovando…Maybe belongs to Alex in front of him. Mark Farnsworth called in from somewhere near the Idaho line. He’s having a great time as a rookie on the Divide. He’s got the secret to dieting on the Divide! The Mantalope called in from Rawlins now to recap the last couple of days. Saw Matthew and family out at Brush Mountain Lodge. He’s got A LOT of water strapped to his bike – ready for the next trek! Eszter Horanyi called in from Pinedale. Having a better 2nd half of week after limping into the Grasshopper earlier in the week. Saw 2 grizzly cubs last night! Pushing on to Atlantic City tonight and beyond. Shooting for Colorado by tomorrow evening. Eszter Horanyi called in from Boulder. With a message for Garrett, Eric, and Adam in front of her.

Does anyone know if Gary Glunt is ok? He's a co-worker of mine, but it doesn't seem as if he has made it to Whitefish as of yet... (at least according to the spot) I'm hoping he's ok!

Thirteen TD riders past our lodge today.  I missed getting photos of Jon C, Chris Z, Prentiss C, Brett S & Josh S as they head south for Lima.  I did stumble on Zohan K the rider from Israel at the end of the Pioneer Mountain Scenic Byway this morning.  He is still in the race, however is Spot Tracker is not working and has not since his stop near Basin.  It is not a battery problem!  He was very upbeat to be participating in this great event.  At that time he was 5 miles behind Tom T and Nathan M; and about 5 miles in front of Sarah C.

My husband was out testing his new cross tires a little while ago and came across Jo Ann.  She asked him to make a call-in for her because she hadn't found a phone by the time she got to the edge of Helena (where we live) so she decided to just keep going.  She said her "spot" isn't working well, her bike computer is broken, and she did get lost on Stemple Pass, but she's continuing on toward Butte!

The Long Ranger limped into our lodge in need of some repairs, food and a nap.  He was sleeping when Sahar C stopped in for lunch.  She reported all was going well and the scenery in the Pioneers and Grasshopper Valley was spectacular.  Greg L was a couple hours behind her and the Long Ranger when he stopped in for lunch.  He too need to do some wrenching on his bike before he took off for Lima.
