Yes, but he isn't on TrackLeaders since he isn't racing the TD.
Thank you, Denis!!

Have to say I have become addicted to the tracking and the forums.
Someone posted a little bit of a rant about not having better coverage a couple days ago. I guess someone is suppose to digest and post this for everyone else for free!?!?
It does seem to have impacted my work lately. Ugh! But what can ya do? There's more important things! And, hey, for a couple/few years there, Paul Howard did do regular semi-daily news summarizing at the TD site. Top notch reporting, it was. And I even pitched in some a couple years ago. I tell ya, it was a LOT of work! It doesn't seem like so much, and it's so fun, but it adds up pronto. It's the best show in town and it's still going' down! I'm personally diggin' Cjell's carefree noggin -- ears tuned to the music of the spheres (and for vehicles) without turbulence. ...Perfect breeze.

That's about the same for Cjell I would imagine.
Cjell Money! I'm gonna have to figure out a way to coin this in my daily vernacular, kinda like "Boo Yah!". Meant in the awesome-ness-hightened-respect-for-another-sort-of-way. Or, maybe "dude, that is so totally wicked, so Cjell Money! Right on." Or maybe in a conversation like: Couch-Potato Friend (to Uber Adventurous Friend, as UAF walks in the door): "Hey, man, did you just, like, ride 150miles into a headwind with driving rain, and scorching heat, uphill both ways, while wearing nothing but shorts, a cut-up t-shirt, and ray-bans, taking time to stop and pet a dog, in something like 12 hours?" ( exaggeration for emphasis); UAF, matter-of-factly: "Yeah, it was so Cjell Money!" (as UAF, making some subtle mock-hip-hop gesture of choice, walks back out the door to go country dancing wearing a straw cowboy hat with unlit cig dangling from corner of mouth). Anyway, it's 95% downhill for CM in the last 30 miles. So, unless he starts walking to savor the end and prolong the finish, he'll beat Jarral to the line, so to speak, by a few hours. Jarral has 70 miles to go, plus a potential snack stop in Separ or Hachita. Even though 60 of it is on pavement, they don't call it the Lonely Highway for nothing.

Marco is a veteran with a ride of 19 days (last year?), this year he is taking it easy, riding along with Elena. I would love to hear his thoughts on the tow different styles of riding. Also if he misses not being in the "race" this year.
Have you "liked" the Wildtrack.it page on Facebook? Elena is posting photos and updates. I had the pleasure of riding in Italy with Marco in May, he's a great guy. Super duper strong...imagine if you will a granny gear climb, Marco riding next to you talking on his cellphone then having him turn to you, absolutely deadpan, and say "false flat". I almost fell off my bike laughing

Laughed out loud at work and had my co-workers thinking I have totally gone off the rocker!! (It's really not too much further for me to go, either!!) Thank you!!!

This is a picture of Gen the unicyclist on the starting line: Wow! Two tires would be hard enough!! Used to be able to ice skate and roller skate, now can't do either in my advanced age (the knees and ankles try to go the opposite directions)!! :-) Thanks for the picture!

I found a picture of the unicycle setup - different than the others from the earlier unicycle ride. Disc brake, bars. He has treking poles along. Perhaps a Schlmpf crank like Cjell has, would be helpful - but a tricky adaptation.

To all riders: May you pass through the areas with wildfires without issues. Too many people I know being affected by both Colorado & New Mexico fires. They take off with the wind and it puts everyone at a distinct disadvantage. Anyone who fights these types of fires has my absolute respect and appreciation!! (Especially since they saved my family's cabin in Northern Minnesota last fall!!)

Spotted Cjell on the Spray Lake dam half an hour ago, looked cold and miserable (it's 40f and raining) but moving pretty good. I give him an hour and a half until he is dripping all over the lobby of the Banff Springs Hotel. He did have slightly more on than a cotton tee so that was good to see...

I know a few days ago Cjell Mom posted about his Dad will be waiting for him at the finish and Cjell doesn't know. I hope Cjell still as no idea because he is going to sh!t a biscuit when he sees his Dad there. Woody

Didn't look like he was in much of a mood to chat with some dork in a warm dry truck so I just gave him a toot and a thumbs up as I passed by.

Looks like Cjell's spot has gone offline for the past hour or so. Guess we won't get to remote-stalk him all the way to the finish. Here's looking for a local to put the word up when he rolls in to Banff. Didn't look like he was in much of a mood to chat with some dork in a warm dry truck so I just gave him a toot and a thumbs up as I passed by.
@skogan: keep us informed!

Here's hoping Cjell made it in ok and is enjoying a chocolate milk & a beer!! Well-done!! Hopefully Jarral has an uneventful last part of the ride for the finish & Eszter zooms in behind him!! Congratulations to all who have finished up to now, to the ones who will be finishing the rest of today, and to the rest who are still out there doing it!!! :-) Thank you!!!!

That Muni (mountain unicycle) is a singlespeeder from the looks of it. No need to adapt the two speed crank, they make a two speed unicycle hub so you just need to build up a wheel with one and bingo. http://www.schlumpf.ch/hp/uni/uni_engl.htm
