somebody posted Ollie's spreadsheet of his gear. I went over and it man, there was some cool stuff in it and things I may use in my TD2013 setup (although I'm not going to be able to afford a rohloff anytime soon). I took his spreadsheet and made it a tad more visual with links to all his gear he used. If anyone is interested in seeing everything visually. http://www.driven2divide.com/ollie-whalleys-tour-divide-gear-list-setup-tour-divide-2012/. That's pretty dang sweet!!! Thanks sthig!

I'd say that "Eszter the Record Molester" is there.

Eszter, What a great ride. This record ride will set the standard for some time.
And thanks again for the Ollie "graphic" spreadsheet, very nice. I now must beg the wife to take out a second mortgage for all the "needed" equipment, you no for my daily rides around the park.

Why is babe the tandem always a blue dot, we know who the spirit and inspiration for the ride came from. The second women across the line. go Caroline!

Way to go Eszter!! Congrats!! Super strong & steady ride. Keep on truckin' Big Blue - Go Kurt & Caroline!! Fantastic finishes to all. I have a keen eye on the mid to back of the pack riders...if I were to ever do this, that's where I'd be!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Eszter, all I have to say is Wow! I had a chance to meet Eszter, Katherine W., Rich W. and Tracey P in CA for the Stagecoach 400, they are all incredible people and very inspirational to say the least. Look forward to seeing Eszter in Alaska for the Iditarod Invitational race next year!

Great Ride. Eszter! You totally deserve to set a record for time and style! I have really enjoyed following your strong, consistent progress, and I feel like my cone had chocolate jimmies on top when I watched your last push! I hope you can rest and dream about it now that you've finished. Thanks for the pink dot entertainment, and for sounding so upbeat during your call-ins! You are an inspiration for real!

Calls: Eric Schraufnagel’s aunt called in curious about why he’s backtracking and wishing everyone good luck! And Dave Meissner called in from Santa Fe. He’s off-route getting some repairs.

Calls: Eric Schraufnagel’s aunt called in curious about why he’s backtracking Eric S spent last night at or very near the Beaverhead Work Center - a staffed USFS complex of buildings that has water, pay phone, and soda machine. He backtracked this morning. For his aunt, I would not worry that he is stuck in the middle of nowhere. Maybe he forgot something, noticed it while camping last night, and first thing this morning backtracked to look for it. If he was having serious trouble he would have gotten help at Beaverhead. And there's a house visible in the satellite imagery just a mile NE of the area where he backtracked to - so if he needed help he'd be able to get it there.

Southbounders in NM today face a healthy headwind. Not like the severe winds of last week, but it's not doing them any favors. http://hint.fm/wind/
