Jim & Tracy got off to an early start today, they must want to finish or something?? Looks like they just completed the I-10 stretch and have turned for 'home'. What an incredible journey for these two, perseverance and determination!!
It's a good thing they will finish today, that should give plenty of time to get to the start line of the Colorado Trail race on Monday!! ;p
Congratulations!!!

This was a great forum. I loved watching the blue dots and reading the commentary. Simply an amzing accomplishment to finish this race, hell, even to attempt it. Here is my favorite excerpt of the tour, as written by JR "I am a man. I am a man who does silly things. I like to race on skis in the back country in the middle of the night. I leave my wife and kids for a month to ride my bike across America and some of Canada. I am also a man with diabetes. I don't like to talk about it constantly. I don't like to let it affect how I live. It is just a part of me. It isn't me. It is something I have to worry about yes. Diabetes is like riding and finishing the Tour Divide. You can't stop. You have to keep going. There aren't any excuses. You either deal with it or you crash or pass out. You deal with it or you go blind. You have bad days. You have good days. You have a day with good results and for no real reason you have bad results. It is all on you. No one else can do it for you. You hopefully have people that help you prepare and can help in an emergency. It is a bitch but it isn't me and I have it. It doesn't have me." http://livethinline.blogspot.ca/

Joshua Weinfeld called in from Whitefish. He recaps his ride. He’s had some knee pain but he sounds like he worked through it.

Rob Roberts called in from above Seely Lake. He reports the route is closed around mile 216 due to a logging operation. He’s going to bypass to the hi-way back up to the route above Clearwater Lake.

I'm on day two of my NoBo attempt with my moto. I came across Benjamin on his unicycle as I was leaving Pie Town. He thought he would be done on Sunday.
