Rob Roberts called in from Steamboat again. He’s got more mechanical issues and will be there a little longer. He won’t be making his goal but can now relax a little and sounds comfortable with that.

Rob Roberts called in leaving Steamboat. He’s taking shelter from a storm after getting his repairs done at The Orange Peel!

This should be interesting...JayP seems intent, and even though I only know the guy through his adventures, I have a feeling that when he puts his mind to something, it'll be fun for the rest of us to watch!   Is he carrying a spot so we can track him?

Any news from Rob Roberts? I see his SPOT hasn't updated for almost two days.

Seems like his spot is broken, but he apparently went over Independence Pass yesterday and probably is in NM by now.

UHM? Has anyone else noticed that Jay is laying waste to his own ITT time to date, let alone the current Grand Depart record.  Perhaps the beers at the shop the other night were just the right amount.  Keep on keeping on

while there's no denying the magical elixer qualities of PBR - I believe it was my pancakes and the 2, quad shot espresso's I served him at 5 in the morning...

Jay Petervary called in from Lincoln! Looks like he lost his Spot! Other than that and the dust he’s doing good!

Lucky for him, or I'd super fan stalk his ass, as I'm currently in Great Falls with nothing to do, but take a bike ride! (And the mermaid bar, obviously)

Can you get him his Spot?

If he was in Lincoln yesterday afternoon, that means an average of above 200 miles a day for the first 3 days. We might be witnessing something historic there. It would be really too bad not to have it documented, with the splits and all.

Or is there someone on the route that can get him a new one?

You'd have to meet him from the south, 'cause I doubt anyone could catch him from behind at the pace he's going. Plus, all that dust he's leaving behind  icon_biggrin

Ollies ride was absolutely amazing, but I guess his record would have to be considered kind of "soft" since he hiked through a lot of snow...   Fall does seem like a great time to set a record, though the shorter days do add some additional challenge.  This is fun to watch.  I hope JP can get a SPOT soon.

Rob Roberts called in from Cuba, most likely. He sounds wore out but is heading out to Grants and camp on the route to Pie Town.
