Looks like Dylan Stewart has finished his northbound trip at the border, no surprise given reports of conditions on the route (or what is left of it). Sad it had to end that way but a great ride nonetheless, looks like he would have been right around his estimated 20 day finish.

He's a good Yukon boy who grew up running dog teams at 40 below, tough as they come. Way to go Dylan!

Sara Dallman continues to have an amazing ride - looks like she is reeling in the trio ahead of her slowly but surely.

Mike Johnson is forging ahead from Silver City w just over 100 miles left. Hoping he's going to finish it off in one last big push. I can only imagine the mix of exhaustion and excitement that he's experiencing right now.

Not sure how else to get the word out there, but if anyone hears of someone finding one, it's his and it has sentimental value

Joe Polk - can you put that on MTNBR?

MTNBR? MTBCast? :|

Hal Russell called in from Silverthorne. He’s back on track after losing his backpack, wallet, and other valuables. And Scott Thigpen called in from Cuba.

 Wink
Looks like AP ran the original route to that point another "geared racer" did that yesterday.  my guess is the road closure has been moved down that road. This sure makes that NB SS race more interesting as SM and AP went back and forth for a while, AP has been in the lead the last week but now SM is ahead.  With this little left to go - I wonder if they know where they are?  when AP catches up to SM it could be a two boy race to the finish...  they are both strong SS riders there is at least 100 miles of not more between those two and the 3rd place guy..  Interesting to watch!

Arron P certainly gave up his race position with his route choice [?] but maybe he wanted the purist ride. ScottyMc seems to have got the jump on Arron now and is going to take the SoBo SS 'title' unless he gets a flat and doesn't have a patch.  Arron will certainly get a top 20 finish and a sensational ride from the lad. Next Aussie over should be Hugh H ... no sleep, no meal breaks .... also top 20, no pressure Wink

... seems that Michael G. is going north (reroute from Abiquiui to Cuba), either missed to turn left onto Rd. 96 ... or going north with intend.
According to the dots, he started together with Thomas B., who is on the correct reroute.

Wow, the fight for 13 place was full on with racers riding all night in this loose pack to the finish! Thomas Lane pulled out front before Silver City and never let go of his lead. Great job Thomas Lane.

Brett Simpson called in with his finish. He finished with Luke Ragan, Scott McConnell, and Mike Johnson. And Scott McConnell called in with his finish call.

The jacket may just show up...Hammish McKee was riding over Fleecier Mountain and found a TD riders rain coat.  He picked it up and brought it to our lodge that evening where he left it for any rider that might need one.  As luck would have it Dale Earixson lost this jacket, spent the night in Wise River, then stopped at our lodge for breakfast shortly after Hammish had hit the trail.  He mentioned that he was hoping the rain would let up as he had lost his rain jacket yesterday...we told him we had it.

It looks like Billy Rice will be the only rider to complete the regular course AND in both directions!

We are in banff getting ready to head south for a couple of months. Anybody know the best place to find out if there is a glimmer of hope of following the trail south from here?

MG is going to South now, after an unplanned visit of Los Ojos.
Go Michael!

Good old fashioned ground work. He worked on his own to get a permit to go through the closed areas. Perseverance, planning and making things happen are suppose to be a huge part of the TD!
