***UPDATE*** I'm not sure if anyone has emergency contact info for Bob - hopefully someone can get in touch with his family.
I just sent contact info. Looks like he did not hit 911 on his SPOT. Hopefully you can pass his info on to someone that is a little closer to the details. Hope he is OK and thanks for the update.

Looking for racer Gibney. I can see him riding on his on page but not on the leader board that has everyone on it.
What is his share page? The one I have for him does not have any points. He may have changed it since passing it on to Matthew/trackleaders.

http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=0EDJQxQpk9x3875VtI59nZOZiaGNq1CokThis is the page that I have saved that I can view him on. If I can't get him to show up on the other page, it's o.k. I bring up both pages, and that way I can compare him to the other riders. I was just wondering when I talk to him if there is something he needed to do. I am new to this link also, so thanks very much for responding quickly and your help.

Did Erik Lobeck take a wrong turn; I see him on the north side of Holland Lake. Maybe going fishing?

Not really, probably just grabbing dinner at the Holland Lake Lodge. A few of us ate lunch there last year. Good food, but the service was painfully slow. Might set him back a bit, but better than bonking going up Richmond Peak.

Here's to the riders from Washington - Especially my little brother, Brett. He's riding single speed and although a rookie, he's amazing. His family might be slightly biased.... I check this as often as I can - thank you to the team that is supporting the communication and the race. We'll be watching from Colorado !

Hello, Just wanted to answer a question early on. Someone wanted to know who the SS'ers are. My husband is one of them:) His name is Pete Faeth. He had a pretty nasty mechanical early on ten miles outside of Elkford. His chain ring broke in half, and he had to push his bike 20 miles into Sparwood. I wrote all the info on another forum for SS'ers for the tour divide race on this site. He is in Whitefish. I hope I hear from him soon! Go Pete!!

Just got off the phone with "Bob from Wisconsin's Wife". Bob was in the ambulance headed for medical attention with what looks like a fractured collar bone. She asked me to pass along a "Thank You!!!!" to the riders that helped Bob today. Update to follow. Anybody have any suggestions on a bike shop to use to get his bike home.

I'm glad Chauncey back tracked and figured out he missed the Wigwam turn.

What a cool video! The number of riders doesn't seem so large until there they are all in one place riding into the challenge of such an amazing ride. Thanks for posting.

Matthew and Erik are flying! It looks like Matthew is ~3 hours ahead of last year's pace, and from what I can tell from the dots, close to an hour of that was just gained over Richmond Peak. The snow must not have been too bad up there, because he made great time. Erik is working his way up the long switchbacks right now. Will they be pushing all the way in to Seeley Lake tonight? They could be rewarded with a tasty gas station breakfast only a mile or so off course...

Two questions, is there a trick to opening up the 2009 split chart? Every time I try to open it, my browser just attempts to download the php file.
Hmm, I am seeing that now, whereas yesterday it was pulling up OK. Must be a server configuration issue. I'll see what I can do. Also, are the 2010 US Border times accurate on the split chart? I've noticed several of the racers times on the chart for the border seem to precede their actual arrival time (see Matt and Erik's times for examples here).
I could check, but I believe we positioned the 'split' point to be a little ways before the actual border hoping they'd get a point close to actually making it (rather than after they go through customs which can take a while). I see now that some people are registering as past the border if they get a point on a few sections where it parallels the border. Interesting, it should probably be adjusted a little further south. Thanks for pointing that out.

Scott - maybe if it's easy and you're sitting around with nothing else to do you could add "SS" after the name of the single-speeders on the split chart?
I'll see what I can do, later tomorrow. It's not quite as easy as just editing the table since it is generated, but I should be able to figure something out.

Do you know who the SS riders are this year?
Kent Peterson from Issaquah Washington is running SS 32/18. He actually rode his bike up to Banff from home to start the race. You can read all about it here: http://kentsbike.blogspot.com I wonder if he'll ride home from Antelope Wells?

Having a great time watching the race. Lee is a machine! How many hours a night are these guys packing in? Looks like the average is about 5. I'm going for Dean, I always love a guy who chases the leaders.
