My legs think so. But Strava seems to disagree??

What a superb ride by Robert Orr. Congrats! Gives all of us near-seniors a great deal of hope. Time to keep an eye on Marshal Bird as well. Fantastic performances from everyone.

Huge Congrats to Elliot Dumont on a tremendous ride!! Way to go man.
I believe we're up to 3 finishers so far who also completed the AZTR750 this year: Jay, Dylan & Robert. Incredible.
To everyone still out there, keep the hammer down.

Big congratulations to Rob Davidson for finishing as first Kiwi in approx 18:04:00 and 10th (11th) place. Awesome ride Rob - you must be stoked to be in under 19 days.
Last year he was 6th place in 21:01:21 and had goal days this year of under 20. I think that shows the depth of the field this year and the impact of better weather/trail conditions.
He was chasing Michelle Miani pretty hard from Lima, but some time delays around Gold Van Rv Park and Ponderosa (curious if anyone knows what happened? Overheating? Fighting off dogs? Gear issue?) perhaps cost him too much time. I'm not sure if they even got a glimpse of each other - perhaps in Salida. Great that two guys can race so far and so hard and still be alone.
Well done.

Hey kiwidave, Rob mentioned on FB that he chased Michelle for 25 miles before his knee said no more with 20 miles to go. Michelle took Rob's finish line photos. Congratulations Rod, well done man, three days off last year, you rock!

Hello everyone from sunny, magical Pie Town, NM! I haven't even begun to dig into the pages and pages of this discussion yet but I understand there was a lot of well wishes and cheering going on. I just wanted to drop you all a quick note to say thank you. My blue dot could almost feel the positive energy coming from you all. I'm excited to see all the craziness that occurred on the forum once I re-enter into cyber-connected-society. For now I'll be eating more pie and relaxing at the absolutely marvelous Toaster House. Pie Town is truly magical. The locals and the pie are well worth the visit. As to the question of what pie I ate the day before the final showdown... It's a trade secret but let me assure you Kathy's pie at Pie-o-neer Pies very well might have been the deciding factor in my race.
Cheers to you all! Happy trails and best wishes to everyone on trail and congratulations to everyone who has finished. Josh Kato
Congratulations Josh, phenomenal ride, that was inspiring

Just curious if anyone is aware of any shuttling options out of Antelope Wells other than what's listed on the ACA maps? My fiance Ryan Correy should be finishing up later today and looking for a ride out of AW.
In 2012 he lucked out with a shuttle coming up from Mexico, hopefully he will be so lucky this time around!

I had a bit of time over the weekend and decided to camp along the route between Abiquiu and Cuba. About 15 miles up Polvadera Mesa as it turns out. I caught Ryan Correy on the way up on Saturday about 7.30.The next morn got a fellow from NZ, I thought he said his name was Evan (but can't find an Evan on the racer list) just before 5am. Then Marshall Bird at 5.30.
Thanks for the photos! Good to see Ryan out there doing his thing

Huge congrats to Elliot DuMont of Tucson. We often compare him to the cartoon tornado from Looneytoons that always has things flying out from it. But man, when he harnesses that energy, he flies. From cruising well behind the 20 day pace to finishing sub-19 is pretty awesome.
Looks like Seb and Beth are going to finish is a few hours, putting Beth ahead of the old women's record as well. What a year! So awesome to watch fast women blaze the route like that.
