Interesting tires on JP's bike.  Blades on the sidewalls for side-cut protection and low profile.  Front tire says "Sparwood" on it.  Anybody know what these are? Nano-something-ish.

Apparently they are a new tire from the new QBP brand Teravail

Thanks to all those posting photos. Nice for those on the other side of the planet watching on to see more of friends than just a dot on the map.

Great riding and coverage this year. Thanks all!

Josh Kato seems to be getting better every day. He's making it a 3 person race.  Certainly edge of the seat racing going on.   Super impressed with the front 6 riders ( well all of them really).

A few more TD riders stopped by the Montana High Country Lodge today.  Billy and Lina Rice enjoyed a Father's Day to remember forever on the TD route.  When they departed for Lima they had a sweet little tail wind.  Four TD riders are spending the night.

It looks like Jay stopped to rest at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds and Neil passed him and is heading up Marshall Pass, as of 10:30PST.

Thanks to the background masonry, the pictures of Jay and Neil's bikes show an interesting contrast in saddle angle preferences.  For those 200 mile, 10,000' a day, 2500 mile outings, I think I'd prefer Jay's setup!

In hotel room--Achilles is now 'squeaky' and bumpy as well as swollen
Any way it could improve? Ice elevation as we speak
Any other suggestions?

Mike Hall reached Como on Saturday Evening, I thought we have had another Saturday arrival?

JayP came through Sunday Lunchtime.

The latest a leader has come through was Monday lunchtime.

Ice, elevation and Vitamin I Marshal. Keep it going man, there are lots of people rooting for ya. Rest up tonight, ease into it tomorrow. You've got this man.

Oooo Jay P is up and moving again at 3am, maybe he's go going to sneak back past Neil as he sleeps part way up Marshall Pass. Exciting times in the middle of the night....
