It is said "it is the riders that make the race" and this race is truly inspiring!  Josh has been in another league on the flat stretches of pavement and that is holding true now. Pretty sure its that 73mm threaded BB ;-)

Just got goose bumps watching the videos of Josh, Jay, and Neil crushing the road miles to the end. So inspired by these guys.  headbang

Looked at that video of JK. He appears spun out. No more gear. If JP has anything left, he has the gearing.

Really happy to see these guys racing like true gentlemen.

In 2013, I sprinted from Silver City to the finish against two other guys. They worked together, drafting off of each other and, frustratingly, I had to watch them slowly pull away from after miles and miles of chasing them on the pavement. They finished about 10 minutes before me. Do I still seem bitter about that? Fuck yeah.

Great race this year!

Nope.  Look at the chain alignment on the cogs and the position of RD.  Still has a few cogs left on there to drop down.

JK with a 9-mile lead with only 38 more to go - that's gonna be tough to overcome. What an incredible day!
