I'm riding a 27.5 in 2016 so I hope there's something in stock at Orange Peel in Steamboat Springs or Absolute Bikes in Salida.
Those are both good sized shops. I replaced my rear tire (Conti Race King) at Orange Peel in Steamboat this year, because I knew it wouldn't make it to the end, and I was already stopped for other repairs. They had one in stock. The post office is not to far from the shop, so sending parts there via General Delivery before the race would be a way to ensure you had the things you wanted/needed for them to install as well.

Congrats Billy and Lina for an epic and entertaining TD. Thought about you two every time I looked at the bracelet Lina gave me in Banff. Superb effort and a lot of us are terribly envious.

Billy and Lina Congratulations!!! To me ~ The race is STILL in progress! Till the Last person crosses the finish line. Yup! Last is JUSSSssst as important as FIRST! Right everyone! Everyone has an Everest. Either to do. That they've done. That is to be accomplished. That is dreamed of doing. And. For SURE. Everyone's Everest is just as important as the next person's Everest. Well, Billy and Lina if you get the chance at the finish line to read this....you've kept me up all hours of the night, STiLL! That's a GOOD thing! I stay up every year, watching the Tour Divide for a period of 30 days every year now. For some 12 yrs. Some years, I have to admit are more exciting than others. That *for me, is because I get the chance to meet you ALL. (well most of ya's! that allow me to meet you) Others that stay secretly hidden, do so I'm sure, out of their own free will and personal ways. It was exciting that you brought Lina along Billy! GREAT idea! Lina THANKS SO MUCH for listening to your DAD. THANKS Lina for showing so many others - on the couch - what and how to push and challenge yourself which really adds character and personality to being such the nice person to know! IT WAS GREAT to meet you!!! Hope you enjoyed the Rice Krispy Squares from the Question & Answer Session.? AT the end of the day you WiLL NOT Regret doing this! Remember, pushing the limits means - EXACTLY that! PUSHING means to surpass that which you already know. So what are YOUR THOUGHTS - Lina!?? Love to hear what you've learned think and can't wait to do an interview so get in touch with me - ok!? Congratulations to ALL who kept'er up! Can't wait for you's 1 by 1 to get in touch with me this year~! bigbearhi@gmail.comYour START-Line CheerLeader Grand Depart Photo organizer & The Annual Crazy Larry's Question and Answer Crazy Larry

NOBO #2, 65 year old Mike Ingram of Arizona is on the final 550 miles of this tour. Arriving last night he spent the night in the teepee, had early morning breakfast at the Stray Bullet and then made his way to Seeley Lake which it appears is as far as he got today. He said the trip was going very well, however he admitted that he was really slowing down this late in the race. He was looking good and is an inspiration. Awaiting the Jolly Mr. Norman who should arrive as early as tomorrow.
Have a good night and carry on!

I'm riding a 27.5 in 2016 so I hope there's something in stock at Orange Peel in Steamboat Springs or Absolute Bikes in Salida.
My experience of Orange Peel is that you would be unwise to rely on them having the tyres you want. Better to bring your preferred replacements to Banff and post them ahead to Steamboat.

There are 5 or 6 bike shops in Steamboat--if one doesn't have the tire you want chances are an other will, after a couple of calls to verify Orange Peel lent me a loaner bike so I could ride over to another shop for a set of leg coolers.............

Patrick and David Morrison are 20 miles from the finish, I think they're the last two from the riders that left Banf on June 12th.

Technically, Jim Stansbury is listed as "active" but I have my doubts.

Jeff Taylor here; seems like my SPOT although seemingly active, was not tracking my progress for the final leg of the trip NOBO. Looking to sort that out with SPOT/Matt. Finished on July 13 at 6:28.10 PM. Congrats to all the riders who took on the challenge of the TDR 2015. Jeff
