Congratulations to Stefan Maertens, already the 6th Belgian, if my counting is right, to finish a TD race and the fastest by far. That makes it 6-0 in the Belgium-Holland game!

Is Brian Alder the fastest 50+ racer to ever complete the Divide? The guy was ripping up the course for a fellow north of 50 years. Gives me hope for the next decade of life.

Kato your a machine. You need to throw down a new record next year. Age is only a number.

Does anyone keep the "age group" records for TD?

The best years are yet to come Josh ; ) Apparently the 50+ record was 18 days 8 hours. I am not sure what Brians time was in the end? Hes a meticulous dude tho. I profiled him here before the event. http://jeffsbike.blogspot.co.nz/2016/05/brians-tour-divide-q-a.html

The best advantage you can have for approaching 50 is to be going as fast as you can when you get there. I didn't and it caught me.

Garreth has been extricated from Antelope Wells. Sophene is still here at the ranch house and they are currently debriefing one another.

I guess they should be given some privacy then, and no more questions till they are done.
