‪#‎TourDivide16‬ Unknown called with a choppy call. I post this only to see if anyone can identify him. I think it may be Rolf Moser again but the call ID doesn't match.

I think so too. I sent a text to the other number I had for him. Perhaps he'll call back in.

*K it was him. He'll call again from Cuba tomorrow!

That was the first thing that my wife told me when I got up this morning. It is a reminder that the TD goes through some remote areas and we must be on guard. Apparently there were 2 mountain bikers and they startled the bear. I suspect that it was a female with a cub that was out of sight.

Jackie Bernardi is powering to the border with one last push! Looks like a 19 day+ change finish for her. Well done!

Beat that sneaky 20 day marker! 19 days 22 hours 19 minutes.

(Oh and Dave, the knee is feeling a lot better - the plan is next year for me. It looks like Jackie's set a pretty solid time for me to have a crack at.)

Although he still has to pedal some 25 miles to AW, I want to congratulate Ashley Benns for his amazing finish in somewhere between 20 and 21 days. In TD '14 he finished in 27d14h (see http://bikepackersmagazine.com/2014-tour-divide-results/).
Those Brits do very well indeed in this contest. Besides cool-blooded  and hard-nosed, I guess their self-deprecating humour carries them through. Well done Ashley!

She smashed the green flag at the end! First lady across the line this year too.

Glad the knee is getting back to normal. I look forward to seeing you roll down that red line next year Megan.

Ashley is here at the Ranch House.  Says he has not slept in four days, looks like it too.  Time for a couple cheeseburgers and cheer.  He has already devoured two ham and cheese sandwiches.  Been hallucinating off and on for two days.  Wow.

More photos from TD riders stopping at Montana High Country Lodge.  Sorry for being so delinquent in posting but it is fishing season.  We had our first NOBO stop by on 28th.  Should see Bundy Phillips nobo # 2 on Saturday.

So pleased for him.

Yes brilliant news about Greg. Great time too. Especially given the mechanical issues.
