Indeed! MTB Cast is one of the best assets for us dot watchers. I wish more riders took advantage of it. I love it...and I have to add that I miss the calls from our departed friend Hal Russell. All the best!

#TD23 Alexandera Houchin called in from Whitefish! It sounds like maybe the same bear is up above Whitefish watching the racers come by! http://mtbcast.com/site2/category/td23/

I haven't checked in to bikepacking.net in a long time. Great to see there's a '23 Tour Divide thread going on here. My friend Dylan rode it a bunch a long time ago and another friend of mine, Adam is riding this year so I'm "watchin' dots" again and thought I'd pop in and comment. I've always appreciate the MTBcasts so keep 'em coming.

#TD23 Peter Kraft Jr. called in this morning leaving Seeley Lake, Alexandera Houchin called in from just above Seeley Lake, and Tom Kendall called in to say he?s out after a crash coming down Koko Claims leading to a SAR recovery! It sounds like they got him patched up at the hospital in Fernie! http://mtbcast.com/site2/category/td23/

Both Bartholmoes and Leveika appear to have stopped to eat in Wise River. There's rain in the area and there may have been some rain on the Bannock, though at this point probably not enough to affect riding. There's a good chance of rain in the area tomorrow afternoon, so we'll see what they do.
In 2016, Mike Hall stopped at MHCL and slept about six hours. The leaders have barely stopped these first 4 days, so I have to wonder how much longer they can go without some sustained rest.

I'm amazed at how little stopping time and sleep these guys are getting!

Looks like Ullrich has a cabin for the night, maybe catching up on a few zzzzz!

He's got to need it! He'll be the better for it, I have no doubt. Really enjoying watching DOTs!

Looks like he got about 5 hours and he's off again! Yep, dots combined with MTB cast = hours of entertainment!

I just checked the Angler webcam in Ovanda and watched one rider take off...and there's some pretty good fog that's moved in. I'm guessing that will burn off before too long.

Love the Angler's Webcam. Fog will make for a beautiful sunrise out on the course!

And fog - despite its potential dangers - is my favorite way to ride. It's so quiet...just you and the sound of the chain spinning over the gears. I love it. Anyways...back to our normal programming...

Agreed. I have some GoPro footage riding through the fog, coming off of Whitefish Divide in '16. So serene!
