Is Michelle DuLieu no longer riding? I thought she was the Lanterne Rouge.

Could be. Though her track hasn't moved in a day.

Hey all…
I just wanted to say a giant THANK YOU…to Matthew, Scott, Joe, and the other back-end folks…for keeping this race alive through it's many transitions…
It is truly a beautiful event…bringing so many really amazing people to my porch…and I am terribly grateful! So thank you!

And it is with a full heart and happy soul that I say an even BIGGER thank you to the racers themselves!
I had such a lovely race this year, and am so happy for the time i had with each of you…It was really really great.
I hope you all are recovering well and preparing for your next adventures!

On another note, Michelle was here Saturday night…I'm not sure i'd say she's still RACING per se, but she is definitely still riding!  I'll post a few more pics on the Facebook page for the lodge…Facebook.com/brushmountainlodge

Many many thanks, y'all!
See you next time!

It is just astounding that Kirsten would be thanking the riders.  I've stood on her porch and been the recipient of her grace and largesse, so can't imagine where she finds a need to thank those she so selflessly helps.  Brush Mountain is every bit the draw that Antelope Wells is - you just can't wait to get there.

For those of us who don't do Facebook is there any way to see the photos Kirsten is posting?  It would be fun to see the many faces of abject gratitude.

And thank you, Kirsten.

I saw Michelle's SPOT moving out of Steamboat this morning and rode down to Stagecoach Reservoir to greet her. We hung out and chatted for a few and I rode a couple miles with her, she's in great spirits and is definitely riding the race out. She got bronchitis and was laid up in Whitefish for 2 weeks, kudos to her for picking up where she left off and continuing on. She said she got her bike overhauled at Orange Peel yesterday and says she's feeling good and is ready to rock. I took a picture of her and her rig which I'll post when I get home. Go Michelle!

Earlier in the thread we'd heard that Michelle DuLieu had been laid up for 10 days with bronchitis, but was continuing. More power to her-- so gutsy.

Here's a shot of Michelle and her rig this morning at the boat launch parking lot at Stagecoach Reservoir just south of Steamboat.

This was posted on FB earlier:

"Apparently CLM has just been airlifted to Calgary via STARS after serious accident "

No details but some kind of accident on the Trans-Canada Hwy. Please keep Crazy Larry in your thoughts!

The word is that it was a bike crash of some sort, and last update said he's in a serious but stable condition at Foothills Hospital in Calgary. Heal fast Crazy Larry!
