Wow, he is travelling light. No frame bag and no backpack with very little on the handlebars, maybe a could top tube bags. Really pushing it.

Is anyone very familiar with track leader? I can see JV on the main leader board, but when I go to his individual page, it shows him stuck outside of Elkford. Not that big of a deal, because I can see his actual location on the main page and on the spot page, but still… it's kind of driving me crazy. I was glad to hear Mark Witcher's call in, we met him a couple different times while in Banff and chatted with him… good guy and I wish him well!
I'd try a different web browser. JV's individual page pulls up fine for me under Chrome on a PC. Sometimes it can be a caching issue. Go Jefe! And go EH pink dot of yesteryear!  |

Wish the splits for JP and TP's tandem record were out there somewhere. Seems like 18d 13h 50m may be within their reach if stars align with detours etc. Long way to go still. |

Cheerleading squad at Goat Creek trailhead: Crazy Larry, Joe Polk (with back to camera) and the leading ladies. BTW Joe wasn't doing an imitation of Darth Vader -- that was a garbage bag he had over his head to keep the snow off!
