Here's hoping Jill can continue, without being relegated.

Is there another fire? Looks like Charlie Kharsa is way off route.

Argh, is anyone else planning to race next year and getting really itchy feet right now? It doesn't help that I live just 20km away from Banff - the start of the TD is RIGHT THERE. Surely no-one at work will notice if I disappear for a few weeks? And my family probably won't mind... I'll just start loading up my bike and sneak out the door this evening perhaps.

I'm not planning to race next year, but I am planning to do the route next year, and for sure I'm getting itchy. All those pictures make me want to go NOW.

Planning on being at the Grand Depart next year. Watching, reading, talking to locals that are back home and taking lots of notes before a week long recon/test trip the last full week of July.

I'll be leaving later than the Grand Depart-- I'm not racing, so I can wait until the passes are clearer. And I certainly won't catch any southbound racers. I'll see some Nobo racers, though.

TD14: Jessica Green called in from Cuba. She had to ride on a bad tire for awhile. Tanner Morgan called in from Cuba after riding through some rain. And Nat Cobb called in with his finish call after a tough haul through the Gila! http://mtbcast.com/site2/category/td14/

Way to roll Mark! And thanks for all the entertaining "check-ins" along the way. I think those would make for a great coffee table haiku/picture book.

I didn't see any recent posts either on her FB page [Am I blind?] or on her blog here... http://allthingsepicwithjill.blogspot.com/Whats the URL for the Facebook page?
Looks like she had just gone over Cabin Pass when the bike failed. And she hitchhiked? But I didn't think there were cars in there.
