Jason really put on some speed after his last sleep.  Impressive pace relative to the other front runners.  Caught up a bit on Mike but we'll see how the next sleep cycle goes...

Hmm, Mike Hall's tracker hasn't reported for 12 hours now...? Did he forget to turn it on after sleep?

Was wondering the same thing. He was tweeting at midnight and 6am, sounded in great spirits.  Can't imagine he's just chilling out with Jason on his heels.  Maybe went into stealth mode but don't think that's his style.

Apparently he was at Newton Bike Shop last night. If you're on FB, you can get some info from the Inspired to Ride page.

From Mike's twitter...

"off line and off tracking today, higher tracking rate means batteries dead. Holed up near Walmart in Pittsburg ready to get them in the am"

If anyone can pass along to the racers that they can feel free to camp out behind the shop I work at in Ashland, VA. Olde Towne Bicycles 605 England St. If we're open, call ahead and we have a shower. 804-798-1711. Looks like Mike's spot is up and running again.

Wonder what is going on with Billy Rice ... does he have a craving for some gravel wishing he was doing the Tour Divide.  Seems he went off route on gravel shortly after leaving Hartsel.  Hopefully all is okay.

So last time I was just joking that he might be itching for a little Tour Divide action but I just jumped over to the TD tracker and sure enough Billy is on route for the TD.  He is now on his Yo-Yo bike so no issue there.  Maybe just a little sick of the road riding.

Haha, just picking up his new bike in Salida.  I'm sure he'll be back tracking once that transition is complete.

Here is a shot of Mike Hall doing a track stand while waiting for the light to change while making his way through Marshfield, MO this afternoon.

Jason Lane crossed the interstate at Marshfield, MO right at 8 hours after Mike Hall, and looks like he is getting a room at the Holiday Inn Express.

Thousand Yard Stare. Or Mile. Probably to the finish. Quite the look of concentration, regardless!

Excellent! My wife is marketing manager for Pivot, would it be OK if she posts on their FB page? Photo credits to?

Mike has amazing fortitude. We were lucky to spend time with him last year after his tour divide.
