First race this weekend/ need help with tire selection

So I am doing the melting Mann this weekend where the course is 95 percent dirt, hooray! But it has been snowing in SW michigan quite a bit and I'm worried that my conti race tires won't cut it in the packed snow/slush or maybe ice. There is a day with temps around 39 and the next two days will be back to freezing. I prefer contis so is there a tire you would recommend for the packed snow or ice conditions?
I had the vapor 2.1 or maybe even the spike claw 2.1 or is that too much?
Thanks

Unfortunately, I do not have a fat bike. I like the tires though. Bookmarked!

If there might be ice, go with the spike claw. The vapor works great in soft over hardpack conditions and mud, but I imagine it would be terrible on ice or even semi icy conditions.
