I had something very similar waaay back when I was a Boy Scout. I can't recommend using one on your feet. It would only be relevant in a sleeping bag, and would be dangerous...its definitely hot to the touch, so could plausibly burn you if you fell asleep, and since it burns a liquid fuel, any fuel leak could be very ugly. Its okay for hands, but for the money, weight, and hassle, I'd much rather have another pair of dry mittens/gloves. Though I've never tried it, it could work with water, but you'd need to have a good meltproof insulation plan.
I'd guess that the ideal user is the canvas clad ice fisherman.
