The whole of the UK has been having the coldest/longest weather for 30 years! Not a big deal for you guys in the states, your used to it,but here in the UK winters are usually wet&mild. Not This year, daily temps for the last 4 weeks have hovered at 0 c or below and in some parts night time temps as low as minus 20c! and set to get colder and everywhere under at least a foot of snow and a lot of places with at least 3 foot and more on the way! I for one am loving it and hope the forcasts of it lasting at least another 2 weeks are right ,you cant beat a snowy ride

I think I read that Paul E has got your snowcats for the Arrowhead,is'nt he walking and testing in France this week? Looks like we'll have the same conditions for when he gets back, perfect for training for the Arrowhead! I'am off for a ride round Gradbach and Macc forest myself today!

The article was more arduous than the race! It took a long time to digest, a long time to write then a couple more months to get printed. I tinkered a lot but never really found a 'direction' I liked. Oh well, hope you liked it. It fitted in to a good issue though- i loved Jenn's GDR article.
Btw I'll be putting up my full kit list and bike build in the next few days if you are interested.
Nome? Perhaps. I'm planning on heading back next year but probably just for the short race.
