@Big Poppa – it was 38 days, and not a real record at that. Paul Attalla rode the route in less than half of that this year. I suppose we should record that here, as well.

why not add Jay P’s solo self support RAAM record from 2011 to the list. I am planning a loosely organized self supported RAAM route race for 6/2013 for those interested in going after Jay’s record (or setting the woman’s self support record)

I think self supported RAAM does make sense here. Great idea on a race on the route.

Hi Scott – the Freedom Challenge Men’s record was smashed this year with the 2 top riders, Martin Dreyer & Alex Harris racing hard all the way to the line. New record below:

Alex finished just 7h behind Martin, also with a sub-11 day time (by 3 mins!).

Updated new Tour Divide records, both men’s and women’s, Ollie Whalley and Eszter Horanyi, both set during the 2012 event. Also eliminated the US Only GDMBR record, since those were both shattered by Whalley and Horanyi — they hold both records.

Taylor Kruse and I (Chris Arndt) broke our 2012 AML co-record in 2013 with a time of 1:14:18.

Added new section for the “Triple Crown of Bikepacking” with Kurt Sandiforth as the current record holder, set in the 2012 season. No female finishers, yet.

Wilda Birdie Yellowbus (aka Rylee Sweeney) finished the Southern 250 on Monday 8/5 at 9:14 PM, for a finishing time of 2 days, 15 hours, and 58 mins. She’s the first female finisher of the southern 250, and was only a little over an hour off the S250 CR

Updated men and women’s records in the Stagecoach 400, both breaking longstanding records held by Eszter Horanyi and Eddie O’dea.

Also updated AZT 300 men’s record by Timon Fish, last year in an ITT. Timon smashed the previous best time held by Kurt Refsnider and lowered the time beyond what I thought possible on that route.

Also added a new section for AZT 800 records, both set during the 2021 event last fall. This is a new route so we will hold onto the 750 records on this page for now as well.

Added new CTR record, set eastbound by Timon Fish in 2023, as an ITT. So fast.
